The Observer Hotel - The Rocks

There are a great many pubs in the Rocks precinct but the Observer is the one with great (well priced) food and quality wine. Well worthy of your hard earned. Their house Shiraz (Barossa) $8 per glass is amazing...and during happy at $5 is even more amazing

If your an Australian you have to go to this pub, just for its location, and that is what I did. It was great to sit inside with a beer and feel the history of the place, which is helped by all the memorabilia around the walls. This was really a great experience.

Excellent pub! Great location, friendly service, nice beers on tap and the $10 fish and chips lunch special alone makes it worth the trip.

Great staff, cool drinks from cooled glasses. Food selection is very basic, but pefect in quality. We went here twice during our stay in Sydney and loved the place. Really nice cider from tap!
