Dairy Ace Express - The Plains

I happened to come across this little drive thru ice cream place today while driving through the area. I don't like chains and I was really glad to find an independent shop. They have a simple menu that will have whatever you need : the prices were perfect and the service was really good. It was a hidden gem. Forget the chains boring nonsense.

Best soft serve ice cream. New flavor every week. Closed on Tuesdays. The owner is a great person I love supporting local business.

I had shopped at this store for more than a decade under previous owners and always found kind and knowledgeable assistance. SOMETHING HAS CHANGED!!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! For more than 15 years I used a Stihl chainsaw I bought here. It was stolen so I bought another from this store. IT NEVER worked properly from day 1. I knew how it was supposed to work and this was ****! When I tried to return it they refused and told me oh Stihl just isn 't as good as it used to be I had a hard time with that but I tried to use it. Needless to say more use only led to more failure and after only 2 gallons of gas had run through it the brand new $300 saw was unusable. I again attempted to have the store look at the saw for possible warranty coverage. AGAIN they told me (an imbecile named John) that it was user error I knew I could not get anywhere with these people so I left with my saw still broken. Winter is coming, I heat with wood and can not afford another $300 saw. Please avoid this rotten store and help spread the word about this BAD APPLE!
