D Hitchin Post Bar Restaurant

The Post is the perfect hidden gem for good wine and steaks. The bartender gave us great recommendations. The bar is no frills and it is order at the counter for service but don’t let that deter you.

Staff super helpful with wine selection. Really great wine options and a good add on is the food truck they have outside that acts as their kitchen. Feels more like a dive bar that is trying to become a wine bar. Interesting mix.

10/10 recommend. The wine list is extensive and the steaks are amazing!

So a group of us forgot to make reservations at another previous planned spot. We decided to cross over I-10 and see what else was open. We happened to see some guys grilling steaks (Steak night) and decided to walk into this spot. Love the layout, it was perfect for a small group to chat and have drinks with some good food. The mood after 6,7 is a good vibe with friends, they have a small outdoor space if you decide, you need some fresh air. Mr Parri Jamaica

Absolutely adore this wine bar! The nicest people in Houston exist within its walls, and the wines available are always delightful!
