Pappy's Cafe

It is a sad Day when one of your favorite forever restaurants goes down in Quality. Pappy's has always been great. Lately the Food has been SLOP! Short version, Tonight the servings came out with half sized portions and cold! The Apple Cobbler desert which always has been a 10. Was over microwaved dough with a scoop of Ice cream the size of a Golf Ball! SAD! Avoid!

Good food and great portions There is a huge menu to choose from and everything our party had was really good. If you are ordering starters and mains make sure you go in hungry! They also did a great soup takeaway for lunch.

Hard to find better food than Pappys! They re-located 5 miles west to 12313 Katy Freeway. Take the Dairy Ashford exit. Thank me later.

Pappy’s reminds me of the Black Eye Pea, back when Black Eye Pea was actually good. Everyone seems to like the chicken strips, so I tried that. Fries and a salad with ranch. The strips were pretty good, although not very crispy. The gravy on the side was very good. Fries were average, and the salad was pretty basic.
