Bidra med feedbackFood is good, but it is so loud it's almost impossible to have a conversation. Hanging a few rugs on the wall would be on brand and help absorb sound. The Ghormeh Sabzi was missing some dried line and their ice cream was missing rose water, which is pretty traditional.
I recently had the chance to visit the Kasra branch in Rice Village. The area was bustling, and finding parking was a bit of a challenge due to mostly paid roadside parking. Alternatively, we found free parking at the Rice Village garage, although it required a 3-4 minute walk. Once inside, we were impressed by the top-notch service and the warm and efficient staff. The interior was impeccably clean, and as a group of 21, we were seated in a private party area with lovely decorations and comfortable seating arrangements. We opted for 4 family platters to cater to our group. Typically recommended for 6 guests, the platter included a generous portion of beef and chicken alongside 6 plates of rice (cranberry, dill, and white). The portion sizes were quite substantial, making it challenging to finish even for 6 people. While the food was a bit pricier compared to the Westheimer branch, I found the chicken kebabs were not that flavorful here. In conclusion, Kasra in Rice Village is a great choice for anyone seeking authentic Persian cuisine. But if you're torn between the Rice Village and Westheimer branches, based on my personal experience, I would recommend trying the Westheimer location.

I get the beef kubideh every time and always have leftovers when I leave it’s so much food.
What an amazing place! The food was outstanding and so plentiful. Our waitperson Raha was lovely and engaged us in pleasant conversation about upcoming specials and the history of Persian food. Food was expertly prepared, tasty, and exactly what we expected. Prices were reasonable for such a place in Rice Village. Parking was an easy walk from the Rice Village parking garage. Worth making the trip. We’ll be back! Oh, and don’t skip the Baklava with a Texas twist.
