Captain Mike's Fish And Chips

Called ahead to pre order, arrived at said time and they had not even started the order. Given the excuse we wait because it only takes 5 minutes. The whole idea or ordering ahead is so I don’t have to stand there waiting. If I wanted to wait I would have walked in to order not called ahead. Portions are small and food is mediocre. Will not be returning.

We recently visited the restaurant after watching a food vlog. Had a wonderful experience from food to customer service. We ordered haddock and chips, calamari, and cheese burgers. Fish was expertly cooked. Fresh and flaky meat with light and crispy batter; not oily at all. Burgers were juicy and big.Owners even brought in a complimentary cake for my daughter's birthday. Will definitely visit again.

Preordered for Good Friday, the fish was half the size as they use to be. A complete rip off. Will not be back ever. The pics on other reviews showcase the size of the fish, what we received was less than half. For 7 pcs of fish and chips it barely was enough for 3 people not 6.

Too oily and too salty, it seems like they fried the fish in a very old oil or the oil was reused many times. Because i can taste the bad oil taste.

We had been in a long search of halal fish and chips, and luckily we found this! The owners were so friendly and the food was amazing too. A plus point is that they have burgers and shawarmas too apart from fish and chips. And it's all Halal!!!!
