Shaka Hawaiian Bbq - The Colony

Man talk about an experience. My gmail dined here for the first time tonight and did not disappoint. Their family meal is such a great value, especially the option to get LA short rib for an extra charge. The macaroni salad was really good without being too rich. Will definitely come back again.

Good food portion. 5 stars for beef and chicken. 4 stars for fish (according to my particular foodie party of 4).

We love Hawaiian plate lunch from Shaka. My husband and I always get the same things: Kalbee Short Ribs and Fried Fish BBQ Chicken combo. They come out piping hot and fresh all the time. The meats are flavorful and moist all the time and I also like their macaroni salad. We would come more often if we lived closer but maybe it’s a good thing we don’t.. Highly recommend if you’re around The colony/Frisco area near 121 HWY.

Better than expected! Top notch experience overall. Patient, helpful consultation on menu items, clean, and tasteful meals! Chicken katsu and fried whitefish was delectable, along with the rice and macaroni salad. Will go back!

I’m so glad I decided to try this place. The service was great and the person who helped me was awesome and explained everything amazingly as it was my first time there. The food was soooooo delicious the chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly! I got the chicken plate and substituted in the teriyaki chicken and got a side of ragoons. AND another plus, they have a drive thru!!!!!!!!!
