Rix Sports - The Colony

Went to support my brother and his friends playing in a weekly Cornhole tournament. Fun group of people! Food was great and Bartender/Server was on point with drinks!

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the people are nice. We've been twice for a dart tournament and we were accepted quickly. It's a fun bar!! Service is great too!!!

This is a fantastic casual neighborhood bar. We decided to stop by on a whim, and the first thing we noticed upon entering was how clean it smelled—definitely not smoky like some places. There were plenty of games to enjoy, and while there weren't many patrons since we visited in the afternoon, it looked like a DJ was getting ready for the evening. The bartenders and servers were incredibly friendly, which was refreshing. I really appreciate this type of neighborhood bar, especially since most places around here tend to offer overpriced craft cocktails at around $12 each. At Rix, they prepare drinks exactly how you want them, they taste great, and they come at a much more affordable price compared to other spots in the West Plano/Legacy area. We also tried an appetizer—chili tater tots. It was typical bar fare, but they were hot, fresh, and crispy, plus only $5, so we thoroughly enjoyed them.

The fish I had was quite good, and the mashed potatoes were also enjoyable. However, the burger had a lot of potential but just needed to be cooked properly.

The customer service is friendly and attentive. The regular patrons made us feel right at home. It's an excellent bar for playing soft-tip darts!
