Golden Fortune Chinese Takeaway

I have been a frequent customer at this Chinese restaurant, but I usually pick up my order since I live nearby. Yesterday, I recommended it to my daughter, who decided to order delivery. Unfortunately, it took a staggering 2 and a half hours for the food to arrive! This long wait time is completely absurd and unacceptable. I feel guilty for suggesting the restaurant to her, so I have decided to start going to China City instead. They are actually better, and I will no longer prioritize convenience over quality when choosing a restaurant.

We have been ordering from Golden Fortune for several years now, and they always exceed our expectations. The food is consistently delicious, and they are accommodating of our dietary restrictions. Prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I am searching for a Chinese takeout place that can cook deep fried shredded chili beef properly without making it taste like pork scratchings or too hard. This place unfortunately did not succeed in doing so. The rice and chow mein were delicious, and the sweet and sour sauce was thick. However, the chicken balls were dry and the shredded beef tasted like pork scratchings. I will be looking for a new place to try next time.

Roast Duck Curry and Fried Rice at £8.60, a little above the average price, but a reasonable size portion. Service was very fast and helpful, the only annoying part for me was after asking for the curry without vegetables the rice came with peas!
