Bidra med feedbackHi, happened to visit this cute restaurant alongwith my family in the evening last week. The ambience of the place is cozy and the staff is really helpfull in helping you in terms of deciding upon the dishes as per the portions if you are somewhat confused for how many portions to order for. We started with the soups and starter's and then the main course and ended up ordering the desserts. The quality, quantity and the taste of the food is really good, far better than other restaurants in and around that area and also the service of the staff was really exceptional as they were really very attentive and gave a Great customer service. Thanks to the Management as well as the staff for Great food and Service. I will definitely visit this place again and would also definitely recommend to my friends and to my near and dear one's. <br/ <br/ Really, Amazed and Happy to visit this restaurant. <br/ <br/ Thanks. The food was great and everything. We ordered some Pad Thai and rice with some curry. However the restaurant had a lot of mosquitos. We thus ended up packing the food and going home and eat it. But the staff was very catering and packed a good quantity of food. The food is definitely tasty!
38, Bangkok, is a place for vegetarians. The food served is of top quality and even large quantities. However, my only concern is the price. It costs more than the non-vegetarian in most of the restaurants around. I even told the restaurant person the same thing, else I will be a regular on my veggie days. But I still recommend for the shear quality and quantity served.
We had a very great time at this place. The food was very good up to the mark. The starter Java lotus steam was awesome. About the staff very friendly and specially the manger SOhail he helped us out with the menu, the food what he offered us was super like. Cheers for him. Do visit this place thanks
There is an Idiom in Hindi 'Chirag Tale Andhera ' and I would say the same in my case here. I have been visiting a lot of restaurant since been moved to Mumbai and then after shifting here in Thane, had gone different places but never went to this hidden gem called '38 Bangkok street '. But you find the light beneath the lamp as well and that phenomenon called 'Mind seeks the light '. So, we(me and my wife) went here yesterday to make her feel good as she was feeling a bit sad. Also, the golden part of this place is that they are vegetarian only joint and being a veggie my wife liked the place to the core and their delicacies too.So, let 's start with the ambiance of the place and I must say they have done it with taste. They are sprawled in some 500 square ft and made this place duplex which makes this place more attractive. The moment you enter it, you come to know that they are not Chinese and as per their name, they serve Thai and Burmese delicacies and that add more brownies point in their appreciation. The yellow light made the place positive irrespective of the outside noise which become almost dead once you enter. They have an amazing staff to serve you and make you understand that what they have and what the dish is. The person who attended me had some good knowledge of the dishes they have on the menu. The second point which I liked that they don 't bombard you with all the orders in one go but serve one by one. and this is of first in its kind in Mumbai I believe. We have ordered 'Virgin Basil Mary ' and 'Virgin Chocolate Martini ' in the mocktails and they are just right and perfect in the way, they have been served. I really liked the way they have decorated the chocolate martini with the chocolate. Next come the 'Khou Suey ', a Burmese soup with noodle and creamy coconut. This is one of their specialty and as per the promise, it turns out really amazing. Loved the variety of vegetables they have put into it and above all, the taste. We were quite full by the time and decided to skip the main course and so, selected one more dish from their menu and that was 'Banana Leaves Wrapped Cottage Cheese ' and it was orgasmic tasty. The taste of the cheese assured that it had been made in house and the sausage which has been used to wrap them and then baked was amazing. Overall, they made our dinner an awesome one. Also, all the dishes were made in less oil.I recommend this place to all the veggies, who wanna try new taste and delicacies. Give it a must visit.
