I arrived too late to try the chicken fried steak and at the end to get a fried pork. it was very nicely baked and cooked, although slightly on the more dry side. the mac and cheese and candied yams were delicious sides and I would recommend everyone to try them.

Delicious food, spic and span clean, excellent friendly service, prices pretty good. They have daily specials. Wish I could eat there every day to try them all. Buttermilk pie, omg, so good. Homemade type of food, just like mama really made. I could have eaten twice as much.

Oh How I love this place. Whenever I don't have time to cook and looking for something that taste like it was cooked with love I always stop here. One of my new favorites here is there Chicken Fried Chicken with brown gravy. I tried their cream cheese cake and it was delicious.

This place is to die for! Real soul food made with love in a family-run place. The chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and buttermilk pie were so good, we got a piece of “mystery cake” (cinnamon, cream cheese, nuts) to go.If you’re driving through on I-40, the detour is short and totally worth it.

Amazing food with wonderful staff! We have several picky eaters in our group but they were pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was. We recommend the grilled chicken (ask for it even if it is not the daily special) and chicken fried steak. Desserts were simply awesome! Best part was the friendly staff
