Tew-mac Tavern At Tewksbury Country Club

I love this place! My wife I were thrilled to see all the gluten free options. Service was outstanding, food was good, and a super cosy environment with their fireplace. Looking forward to their outside seating in a few months!

My wife and I stopped in to checkout the new restaurant. We both enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Hopefully the new owners keep this place open.

Staff is wonderful, prices are fair, and the food is excellent. They should advertise their gluten free options more as they are plentiful and very, very good. Make sure to ask, as a lot of the gluten free options like the fish tacos aren't marked as such, but this could be due to cross-contamination concerns. My girlfriend had the blackened salmon, and I had the shrimp scampi. Both dishes were excellent, the salmon tender with a beautiful pepper crust, and the scampi was fresh, flavorful, and one of the best examples in the area, gluten or otherwise. Compliments to the whole team.

I love the food here! I’m very picky when it comes to food experiences at restaurants because I want to be served something that’s better than what I can prepare myself at home. TewMac Tavern fits the bill. The people are nice, the restaurant has great views of the golf course and the food is excellent. IMO, it’s the best dining experience in this neck of the woods. I do hope they expand the menu in the fall I’d love to try some new entrees!
