Wahlburgers - Terryville

My husband had the Bacon BBQ Burger with a side of fries, and he really enjoyed it. He mentioned that he would definitely come back for it since he’s quite particular about burgers. At the end of our meal, our server came to our table with a Bay Breeze that the couple next to us had ordered but couldn’t drink due to an allergy. Instead of throwing it away, she kindly offered it to us for free. We happily accepted, and I appreciated her thoughtfulness, as many staff at other places would have just discarded it. The restaurant's atmosphere was spacious and inviting, featuring wood paneling and an industrial feel. My husband and I enjoy Mark Wahlberg's films, so we liked watching TV and checking out the posters and decorations while we were there. I really don’t get the negative reviews about Wahlburgers; it’s just a straightforward burger joint with good food, and they certainly deliver on that. I was also impressed to hear that the Wahlberg family occasionally visits the restaurant and that Donnie has even covered some customers' meals during his visits. We will definitely be coming back!

I was thrilled to visit the restaurant after seeing it on TV. Once we were seated and placed our order, we noticed that the food took quite some time to arrive. However, the waitress was incredibly kind and, recognizing the delay, offered us a complimentary dessert. My child wasn't very keen on the mac and cheese, so she gladly swapped it for a small burger at no extra cost. Despite the long wait for our meals, the service was exceptional.

The food was absolutely delicious, but the wait times were quite frustrating. Initially, we were told it would take about 20 minutes to get a table, but we ended up being seated in just 10 minutes. The menu looked fantastic, offering a great selection. However, the burgers came without any sides, except for the children's menu, which included one side. After placing our order, we had to wait 30 minutes for our food to arrive. When it finally did come, it was worth the wait—truly delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were outstanding. I really hope they can improve their wait times in the future. I was also informed that they don't take reservations at the moment, but I'm optimistic that this will change.
