I know that the dinge have stuffed with kovid, but if I'm a restaurant from the more gönner, I don't like the feeling that I'm being exploited. They currently have a $50 minimum order rule. two of us five had only one main course. I have been here for years and have always found the food good and personal friendly, but the surcharge has made me think twice about going back.
Made a phone booking for 2, when we arrived we noticed a note on the table that said there is a minimum charge of $55pp due to COVID restrictions. When we enquired, the Manager was extremely rude, arrogant and speaking over the top of us...and said if we don't like it, we can leave! We were not advised when we made the booking and unfortunately had to leave as there was no way we were able to eat for that much, considering there was only 2 of us. He was rather willing to have the table left empty in his restaurant than try and accommodate us. Would not recommend this restaurant based on their sloppiness, lack of customer service and pure rudeness.

Rating 1 star as zero is not an option. Completely disappointing visit. Booked online and received a confirmation email. Get to the restaurant and there’s no booking made. Apparently if you book online the auto generated email that says your booking is confirmed means nothing...at all. The owner is a real piece of work who needs to wake up to the current climate for hospitality and welcome/try to make things work for all customers, not yell at the front of house managed and slam menus in front of staff and customers. Here’s a hint. Get a proper booking system that actually confirms bookings properly and don’t have a childish rant. I’ve been to this restaurant on more occasions then I can remember but this is definitely the last time I’ll be giving you a single cent. You made my partner and I feel as though we did the wrong thing and booked online, even though apparently there was no booking and you had no room for us. Maybe try using opentable or the fork for your reservations and you won’t lose your customers. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS RESTAURANT.
