Bidra med feedbackAnother interesting find in Molise! My wife and I drove the 28 k from our home in Larino to try out a relatively new restaurant in the seaside town of Termoli. It is called Fuori Termoli because it is on the outskirts of the town. Fluori means “outside”. It is right beside a supermarket, Eurospin, in a small mall just off the main entry way to Termoli. While that may not sound too exciting, this restaurant offers wonderfully fresh food at a stunningly low price. We’d advise going around 12 noon (if you can manage it). The setting is bright and airy with the feeling of a cafeteria but the food is what you might expect in a very good family restaurant. My wife is a chef and she set the pace. She selected from the extremely large selection of vegetable dishes which represented all the staples of the wonderful Mediterranean diet. The attendant cheerfully filled the plate with the six or seven selections. The price? Five euros! Then my wife ordered a portion from a fresh eggplant parmigiana. The portion filled the plate. The price? Another five Euros. We divided the portions evenly so that we had a healthy portion of eggplant parmigiana with abundant succulent vegetables. All of this was accomplished in a very pleasant atmosphere with a great staff who seemed to enjoy our surprise with the quality and price of the meal. The total cost for an excellent lunch was five euros each . Simply unbeatable. This is a setting without pretensions, but after a long drive or a morning at the beach a visit to Fuori Termoli will give you a pleasant respite from the rigors of travel. In short, it is a touritst-friendly and child-welcoming environment where you can relax, regroup, and get ready for the next part of your adventure. An added bonus is that you do not have worry about parking. Cheers. Vicoduomo.
