Garden Cafe Lawford - Tendring

As always very nice eating, but unfortunately very few signs of covid restrictions. kellnerin does not wear masks and very little ventilation

Used to this place pre-covid much, as the food and service were great and worth for money. but it has gone quickly downhill! order them wrong, but made to feel it was our fault, spicy. even have to ask for basic salt and pfeffer, jacket without butter. eat luke warm and jacket overdone. shan doesn't go back in a hurry.

There had been a few meal times and service meal well, but a afternoon that changed, a gristish piece of meat was complained, wow! the cook came like a ramp-shaped bear with a wound head, began to seek out the meat. before us and with others who watch on their ranting in the frightening!, they explained that they did not grow the meat? I agreed!, but I had to pay madam and I'm sorry if that doesn't fit them, but still their stupid rant does not serve well, sorry craft, beautiful venue etc. and meals etc. were previously well, but when they advertised, they did not cook with them it does not serve them well. thx.

Previously come here regularly precovid and always enjoyed scones and coffee. today's cheese-sweet was a solid rock-work, without cheesy taste, others blown the mere amount on the top. it was gray and stoney in the inner and clear undercooked. coffee was good, how was...hubby's cake. no one seems to be able to make light-cheese scene nowadays! very hot, so sat in the garden, but the half of the tables has no sunshade so that people actually go instead of sitting in the sun. a garden center has access to sunshades. fear, I won't go back in a hurry.

We have visited the Garden Cafe twice for coffee and cake . The coffe tea is excellent and a variety of cakes ,lovely . At the present time all the rules are being adhered to . The garden and shop are worth a visit....
