China City - Tendring

Look no further. In my opinion this is the best Chinese food in Clacton. A fast friendly service, food is always delivered hot and always good sized portions so good value for money. All the meals are cooked and served to a high standard. Delivery or takeaway service available with a wide variety of dishes. Very quick service with friendly and polite staff. Try this.....You won't be disappointed

I have had three meals from here, first about August when there was a heavy discount, and it was totally excellent. Another one about six weeks ago which was OK but not special, and this weekend Saturday 26th.November, which was poor. The spring roll was semi dried out inside with small cubes of pinkish chicken, nothing else except the semi dry spring shoots. The rice and duck was OK just, the Chow Mien was very poor, the noodles semi dry, a few shrimps, tried only one. They can cook good food, but a lot of deterioration since the first good meal. Now called Peking Inn.

We came here to but only to find out that it is not here.... Some other place have it and I am not sure if I want to get any good from them the first time we ordered good grom here it was ok..

Delicious food, delivered piping hot and fast delivery. Definitely the best in Clacton as far as my family are concerned. We are local and wouldn't go anywhere else. Give it a try if you haven't already.

Ashamed to say that we live locally but this is the first time we have used China City, but, I wish we had done so ages ago. We had by far the best takeaway we have ever had in and around Clacton from here and will definitely be using it every time from now on. Food was extremely hot on arrival, and very tasty....the Prawn Toasts were gorgeous. Can't recommend it enough.
