Captain Fryatt - Tendring

Stayed here for a business trip, never been to Harwich before and wasn’t sure what to expect! Brilliant welcome by the friendly bar staff , clean room , good choice of food and an overall good environment! The chap who runs the place helped me with some questions I had about the area and was a very accommodating young man. Would recommend to anyone needing it for business use or personal use. You won’t regret it. Very good value for money, will stay here again most definitely. 5 stars!

There is a chippy open till 9 some days, or sandwiches from the shop, Both a better option in my opinion.

This place seems to change hands more times than I have hot dinners, having said that the beer is always good and the staff are always friendly and accommodating, its always a good place to watch sport on one of the TV's upon which I think there are 3/4

Best pizza Iv had since Italy beautiful and light base. Sooo well priced. Greek salad was massive. Very friendly staff. Loads of choices on menu.

I ordered a mushroom pizza, as I'm vegetarian. It had 4 pieces of mushroom. My partner's ham pizza had more mushroom. I feel cheated. It was cooked fine, but the same price as all the loaded meat pizzas.
