Bidra med feedbackWe went to the middle of the family dinner through our 8-day stay in Roatan. The property is a pleasantly decorated, open dining area, surrounded by a well-designed garden. The building next to the terrace has many items for sale, most made by Central American craftsmen. The food was incredible! Portions were generous and all flavors were on point. I had chicken Moraccan Tagine served with rice, pineapple salsa and pita bread. I also ordered the Black Bean 'sup of the day'. The menu offers vegetarian and vegan dishes, along the page many options with animal proteins (and seafood). I would categorize the tariff here as a clean food. Staff and service as well as incredible, attentive and friendly. My mother-in-law began to come with a cold, and the owner prepared her a ginger/lemon/Honey tea. We were all very satisfied with our experience here and will probably return before our trip is over.
A fantastic evening and dinner. Lala leads one of the best restaurants on the island! From drinks to appetizers to dinner everything was excellent. As an additional bonus, there are beautiful indigenous paintings and artworks to walk around and watch while the dinner is prepared. It's one of the few restaurants that I can say we're coming back before we leave Roatan.
Great restaurant. Super service, great food (excellent choice for vegans and vegetarians).
Our experience in Lala was by far the best of the many restaurants we visited in West Bay. The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful, and the restraunt structure has a gallery with local art for sale. The food was excellent, and the service was also very friendly. We enjoyed our dinner here so much that we even went back for a second night. I would definitely regain this restaurant to anyone looking for a fresh, healthy and generously cut food.
Visited this lovely place for a 3:00 PM snack, on August 20, 2019. Open air dining restaurant surrounded by a beautiful garden and a nicely display of art. A minute walk down the road from Infinity Bay and 5 minute walk to the beach in Roatan 's West Bay area. My husband and I shared a falafel salad bowl accompanied by sauvignon blanc. The bowl came with pita bread and sides of hummus and yogourt sauce. My husband enjoyed it so much and he is not into falafel like I am! New owners as of summer 2019 are a husband and wife team that recently moved from Hawaii. We chatted with Isabella, the owner, originally from Chicago. She is passionate about plant based which I think will influence the menu. Her husband is the artist. They are preparing to have a grand reopening in October. We highly recommend this place if you appreciate fresh-delicious food in a lovely environment. If you are like me and have a delicate digestive system, you also want to eat here. I think this would be a great place to host private events or weddings because of the surrounding green vegetation, privacy, colorful décor, and friendly-helpful people.
