Chateau Kalpak Vineyards - Tekirdag

There is no hospitality or a warm welcome. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The manager is a disgrace. Shame these kind of people still exist in 2022

An unexpected, outstanding winery! We visited this chateau, last week, during a wine-tour in Turkey, and I must admit that none of us anticipated this level of preciseness and detail in wine making. Mr Kalpak is an excellent wine maker, an engineer, designing everything to reach optimum quality and taste. This wine estate is a must see. Location, setting, views; everything is perfect. The cellar is a work of art, and actually an art gallery on it’s own; impossible not get impressed. The wines are also great. Chateau Kalpak 2017 is my favorite, yet unfortunately it’s finished. Hope the new vintage would be as good. Why 3 stars then?
