Bidra med feedbackVisited this place as we like smaller restaurants with character. However, we wish we had noted some of the reviews that highlight the owner's underhand methods to rip off tourists. Before giving us the menus, the owner reels off a list of recommendations but beware, he never provides a price. And even if you do order off the menu and clearly point to the dish you want, he may still overcharge by 50%in our case). We expected an uplift for ordering fillet rather than sirloin in the Wellington however ...... I ordered Cherne from the menu but when we challenged the bill €22 instead of €15 on the menu) the owner said that it was because the Cherne was fresh! But what I got was a triangular piece of fish that looked very like it had been cut off a frozen block of fish. He also charged €18 for the €15 bottle of wine. We questioned the bill but the owner could not have cared less so for the first time in a long time, we did not leave a tip he had already taken the tip when he overcharged us by at least €10) As for the quality of the food, the taste of the prawns was completely obliterated by too much burnt) garlic on the garlic prawns, the Cherne was tasteless and my husband's fillet was not hung to write home about. Service was very slow with the owner being the only one front of house but spent half his time in the kitchen food prepping. We were early and prepared to wait before ordering however we noted that the family who arrived just after us still had not received their mains some two hours after arriving. Lovely ambience here but shame on the owner for his underhand tricks on tourists and arrogant attitude.
If you find it you have found a Gem.Small but perfectly formed. This is run by a husband and wife who have been her for 20 plus years and more.Food is cooked fresh so don't expect Mc Donald's. Very good value for money. Try the Churney fish no bones. Best book in advance, not all tables are ever taken but restricted by small team,Mereta the owner goes at a steady pace.
Great locally owned family restaurant serving delicious food. We went in the evening (booked a table). Restaurant is small with limited tables and it is run by one lovely gentleman and his wife does the cooking so yes, service is relaxed if you like but we’re on holiday and there’s a cute square out the front if you have kids. We had lemon sole and steak and it was delicious.
Muy rico, todo en general está bien, buen servicio , buena comida y local acogedor. Las gambas de la santa, los pescados.
A co-worker and I look for another restaurant that we go to this opportunity. We ask the iron to serve you with fries and salad. a large bartender that leaves you in steaks and removes the thorns in front of you. We also order a dish of mushrooms on the dish with straws in spectacular laminas. In fact bread ceases and after dessert a suzette crepe unbelievable. professional walker. they had a wide variety of meats and fish to choose from. I recommend it.
