Posto ed accoglienza fantastica.Adatto a tutti, dal single alla famiglia. Possibilitá di noleggio tavoli per il proprio pic-nic, posto sempre ben rifornito di bevande, gelati e altro.. Lo consiglio, anche solo per un aperitivo, ne vale la pena!

I guess that only few tourists end up on this side of the Maggia river. To get there by public transport you need to take bus no. 7 to Losone and exit at stop "Arbigo". From there, follow Via Gratello nearly to the end, turn right into Via Herbale, then again left into Via Pisone. About 15 Minutes of walking. You end up on a big lawn. The little shed is Hola Chico Merisc. Nothing special, just a kiosk selling ice cream, coffee and a few more things. BUT look where you are: right where the rivers from the Centovalli and Maggia valleys come together. A long sandy beach, tons of pebbles and larger stones to build dams, harbors, swimming pools. Driftwood to make a bonfire (if its allowed!). A paradise for kids! We spent the whole day there with our kids and enjoyed it very much.
