Tacos El Guero - Tecate

We stopped here last year after a great experience and it is just as good. The service is fast and the food is great. The parking lot was a little tricky when he was busy, but we found out. Great selection and prices!

This jewel found during the trip through Tecate. The staff was patient with my limited Spanish and we could order some amazing food. Tostadas and Tacos were the price for the day and we really enjoyed the fresh food. That's it!

We always stop here when we are in Tecate or cross the border there. The Tacos are the best in Tecate, and they have a variety of them: Asada, Adobada, Cabeza, tripa, and suadero (sadly no fish), on maize or flour tortillas. There are two separate lines, one for beef on the right and one for pigs on the left. The tables are covered, the bathrooms are clean. Only cash.

Pedí una torts de asada y estaba buena, pero el hombre que atiende en la línea de asada totalmente descortés, mi esposo le hablaba y nunca levanto la mirada para responder, como si le hablaban a una pared y para completar ni siquiera usa guantes ni cubiertos para hacer los tacos, quién sabe por dónde habrán pasado esas manos

Parecería que están muy buenos y tienen mucha fama, pero se me hicieron tan normales y malos como todos los tacos de carne asada de Baja California es un maltrato a la carne asarla de esa manera pero al parecer la gente por acá así está acostumbrada, si te gusta la carne carbonizada e insípida este es el lugar indicando.
