Bidra med feedbackBest fish and chips I’ve ever had! Worth the detour. The salt and pepper squid was also melt-in-your-mouth. Beautiful location (on the river) and perfect service! We will be back!
Sunny glorious weather on the Myall River! Had delicious lunch at Mumms. Food was great ,with a lovely seafood chowder followed by the seafood platter for two that we really enjoyed. Washed down with a few beers. Our waitress was excellent , a magic interlude on a lovely day!
My husband and I could not think of anything that needed improving. View, food and service all great.
Our little group of four couples decided to treat ourselves to a dinner at Mumms. We like our food and wine and what better place than Mumms...or was it? We were plonked out under the marquee on a cold blustery night and the huge rip in the wall did not help at all with the comfort level blasted by the icy winds. Well at least the food will be good! Well it wasn't...it was nothing more than ordinary. The batter on the Orange Roughy was soggy and barely edible, the sort of thing you'd expect as a takeaway. The so called salad was truly appalling, and the wait staff not within cooee. In all fairness the steaks were reportedly quite good and the fish wasn't...is this not a fish restaurant? Anyhow our party could not get out of there quick enough with the irony being that as we are all locals we agreed as one that we had better fish to fry elsewhere. Our night out was declared as being ordinary, uncomfortable and expensive...no value here at all.
Shame the staff and food didn’t live up to the beautiful setting. Seafood platter was full of deep fried items, that appear to have been frozen. Oysters of dubious freshness. Weird standoffish attitude of staff towards us and other customers. Disappointed given proximity to amazing fresh seafood.
