Pralarn Pier

It's a small wooden pier. Check in was a bit slow, but seemed well organized. There are three check in counters and one ticket counter, very hard to miss. Bathrooms are free

It looks like 1 2 hours delay is normal thing for Lomprauah now. Now 1 p.m, and just boat which should depart to Koh Tao at 11 start boarding. Our 12:30 boat not arrived yet. On photo: view from our 12:30 Lomprayah which bypasses 11 A.M. Lomprayah between koh Pangan and koh Tao, time: 3p.m., it is around 1 hour until arrive to koh Tao for us, they waited from 9 10A.M., and will arrive after 4:30 P.M.

Took the 8am ferry to Bangkok and had an excellent service. Arrive 1 hour before departure time to avoid any lines. There is plenty of seating, a mini mart and cafe to wait at after you check in and wait to board the ferry. There are two VIP seating areas on board the ferry. VIP seats are 100 THB each and comfortable with air con. Then there is the Exclusive VIP room for reclining seats and aircon for 200 THB per seat. The 200 THB recliners is what we went for as we had a 4 hour ferry until we got to shore so was definitely worth it! We took this ferry in 2022 and they have improved it a lot.

Took a ferry across to Koh Phangang. The overall experience was ok, the setup is a little messy. Constantly being informed to get into different queues. Just look at the billboards for checkin based on destination. Aim to arrive early as the checkin process can take time.

Great place to wait with music and restaurants around.
