Double Shot Cafe - Taupo

Food was delicious! I had the breakfast croissant and it was the best I’ve ever had. The bacon was crispy on the edges, fried egg cooked perfectly (you know when the yolk is over cooked it’s dry not like that) and a yummy chutney to lift the flavour. What topped it off for me was when it was heated they didn’t squash it like a pancake, the shape of the croissant was still in tact it was lovely flakey. It was so good I went back a second time for it! The service was also really good. Friendly, helpful and accomodating. I did take away so can’t comment on the atmosphere.

Visits twice in 2 days last weekend in July and was impressed both times with the food, coffee and service. Consistency was perfect and the team behind the counter were wonderful. Good prices too if you want to snack or pig out.

Awesome food top quality coffee. And very friendly and helpful staff. The bacon is delicious. Had this fritter for lunch so yummy
