Da Ricci - Taunusstein

A very welcoming, relaxed and friendly place, just about 8 km from Wiesbaden, where you can pamper and revive your taste buds with delicious Italian meals. The owner welcomes all with a warm friendly salve and a smile. The warm and relaxed atmosphere from Tuscany is also great. The restaurant has beautiful large rooms on the second floor, where you can easily organize smaller meetings with about 10 to 20 people. It really feels like you're in Tuscany to visit a restaurant and it's worth a ride from Frankfurt a.M. I visited. I will be back soon and I look forward to it!!!

We found this restaurant on a long journey through Germany, what a find! This is one of the best Italians ever! The host is super friendly and helpful, the decor is top class and, the most important, the food is sensational.... There is a wide selection and not just pizza and pasta! Everything is freshly prepared and the Stroganoff I had was one of the best I ever tasted. Also decent wines at reasonable prices. A place to return to yourself if it means a detour!

Mr. Ricci makes everyone feel welcome as he greets you at the door. His Italian food is excellent with a cozy atmosphere. The bruchetta was our starter with a wide variety of taste dishes. We all loved the tuna bruchetta. He has menus in English...and speaks enough English to assist in ordering. He has take out as well if you don't have time or would like to take it home. Leave room for dessert he has amazing panna cotta. I just can't say enough good things about Ricci's restaurant. Authentic Italian.

We visited the Ricci last Sunday and had a great time there enjoying our wine and meals. The waitress was extremly friendly, the waiter not so much. But he was correct. Maybe because he did not know us as frequent guests he was relativly reserved....The pasta dishes were very good and we did not regret our choice.We will come again and can only recommend to have dinner at this place.

Visited in early March 2014, for the second time. Previous visit was in 2006 with family members. For really fresh Italian food in small and large quantities, depending on your appetite and the size of your wallet. Recommend an evening visit for the real atmosphere...and friendly service in this easily locatable restaurant situated near the centre of the Taunus village of Taunusstein-Bleidenstadt, some 15 minutes due north of the city of Wiesbaden. Parking and access are easy and free of charge. But do try to make a reservation via the website, where phone numbers are given. Delightful atmosphere and friendly, rapid service (an essential in Germany) are here in handfuls. Talk to the proprietor if you have a favourite dish in mind, or better still, listen to his suggestions which are rarely wrong. In the early summer and in the springtime, make the most of the tables on the terrace. You will not be disappointed.
