Bidra med feedbackWe booked a table for Saturday dinner. four adult and two children plus a dog. nice eating, a great pint properly cooled and excellent service. reasonable prices. we will definitely visit again.
The dog and I were here 1 night on our land end to john o’groats cycling juni 2021. beautiful, beautiful location, quiet, clean, friendly. had a really miraculous bar meal and a few glasses cold, crunchy apple wine. this page was perhaps my favorite on our long trip to north. so a beautiful little guesthouse and perfect camping field, we slept like logs. if they want to stay in the opposite, then:
Really good home cooked food, staff all super friendly and the locals all seemed nice and had a chat with us and the kids. Booking on a Saturday is essential as we had to sit near the bar as all the tables were booked, turned out to be good though as the atmosphere was great!
I only review places what deserve to be reviewed, and The Shrewsbury Arms is a must,Ash is one of the most pleasant people I’ve encountered, stayed in their campsite for two nights testing my new Campervan out…….Beautiful and quite and a 30 second walk to the bar…………Been a few times to eat and drink before and always exceptional, the homemade Cheese and Onion pie is a must(delicious)…….but too be fair all the food is superb……..Good luck with the new baby Ash,you are an asset here at the Shrewsbury, see you soon Darren Diane………..until next time and there will definitely be a next time……..
I visited this restaurant for Easter Sunday, and the roast dinner was absolutely incredible! It came with generous Yorkshire puddings and authentic gravy. I would definitely recommend it. The selection of other dishes served here also looks promising. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the prices are quite reasonable.
