Great atmosphere in front of the bridge near the beginning of the old town of taranto. the service is great and the team that works there is really attentive. I recommend carbonara di mare, which is from the house, also congratulated oysters and the...antipasti is amazing. the view is perfect and the setting also.
Beautiful and hearty lady, who greets her on the table, serves great Italian cuisine pasta, garnelen) , followed by a really good pasta
I remember going there 3 years ago and their specialty was a carbonara di mare a truly unique first course. The price was right. Yesterday I was alone and the wind blowing made the night chilly to walk past the rotating bridge, so I said...to myself, let's go for a carbonara di mare. Well the environment was overall cold, service was sufficiently prompt, prices are higher than before but I thought they have to survive the crisis. I asked for a glass of wine and they got me a quarter liter of a white wine really common, nothing special. Antipasto was a sautéed mussels and clams but it was almost cold and the taste was not fresh at all. The carbonara (it took a long time to serve it) was really full of cream and probably frozen bits of calamari and shrimps. The check? 25 euros. I'm sure most of other places around are either cheaper but rest assured better in quality and taste. Might me a parenthesis. They probably will get better in the summertime.
We decided just to eat a pizza, because we were not so hungry. This was a good pizza. Thin crush and good and rich toppings.. But the waiters... Pfff they were so bored. One stood right in front of our table and kept standing there,...only looking really bored all the time. Not a nice view.. The red housewine was served too cold and tasted rather old. I think there are better pizzeria's in Taranto. At least with more friendly personnel.
