Bidra med feedbackSince the first review (instructions) seem to be from the owner and he modestly gave himself only 3 stars, I will give them 5! The place is beautiful, inside and outside. It 's true, there is no English menu (sadly), but there was a girl waitress there when I came and explained the dishes in good English. I chose curried rice, which came with a tiny bowl of soup and 2 small pieces of bread. The main course was just enough for a good lunch meal for me. All together normally costs 5€, but I was lucky to arrive on a discount day, hehe. The food was beautifully presented. The waiters are extremelly polite and friendly.
Was here July 2019. Saw this place listed on happycow and gave it a try. Here's my Taoyuan LN Fortunate Coffee review. It's a spacious, comfortable, and well-lit space that serves bakery goods (like chocolate bread and buns with taiwanese style fillings like black sesame paste or pineapple jam), cakes, coffee, sparkling drinks, tea, and savory foods like sandwiches, pasta, and pizza. We shared a loaf of the sweet chocolate bread, a grilled sandwich with cucumber corn and house-made cheese, and a couple of fruit-infused drinks. Everything was delicious.
As a vegan, of course I like to eat at 100% vegan restaurants. And I also spend a lot of time working on coffee shops. This is one of only two vegan coffee shops in Taiwan I know of (the other is the excellent My Desy in Gong Guan), and what makes this place especially unique and convenient is that it also serves delicious meals, including pizza. So if you need to spend an afternoon working online, this is the place. They even offer free power and wifi, though I would suggest leaving after a long time if they are full and turning away customers. It's always best to help vegan businesses stay in business! The downside is its location, about 15 minutes walk (or short NT$100 taxi ride) from Taoyuan Station, about half an hour south of Taipei or half an hour north of Hsinchu. But it's worth the trip for a decent amount of time walking, and if you'll pass through Taoyuan, then this is the place to come.

We spent nearly a whole day at this restaurant. We worked, enjoyed some delicious food and coffee, and basked in the welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly staff. The waffles were also very good. We highly recommend this place.
