Cafe Solaris - TAORMINA

A lovely little restaurant with friendly service. We had the bruschetta which was the best we had had all week followed by lasagna. Both perfect. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and the prices were very reasonable.

This is a family run business recommended by our host as solid local food. He was right. We enjoyed the quaint atmosphere with excellent service. We started with the classic bruschetta fresh ingredients with great flavor. My wife went with a citrus shrimp salad. Another solid choice. I had the Sicilian Pesto Pasta. Was just what I was looking for. If you are looking for fancy, this isn’t it. If you are looking for a good local meal made with love, try this place. Very reasonable prices too!

Solar coffee is a great option for a lunch in the beautiful taormina. the quality of the ingredients make the experience of the simplest and most good dishes of Sicilian culture exciting, such as the pasta to the cartster, really phenomenal. Salads and bruschettes worthy of note, as well as the sympathy and spontaneity of the managers who make appreciate the visit of a wonderful city like taormina.

The staff is very welcoming and warm, the food is simple but very tasteful and very reasonably priced. Great view of the Odeon from their terrace. Best dining experience in Taormina. Lot of locals seem to eat here. Definitely coming back some day!
