Fisherman's Corner - Tangier Island

My friend and I spent a weekend in Tanger Island and ate in every restaurant as there are only a few and the Fisherman's Corner was a favorite. We tried the soft crab bites, the signature hot crabs and the signature crab bite. The dishes have not been disappointed! Our server was very friendly, the atmosphere was great. It was a very hot day and we appreciate the air conditioning! We'll be back next time on Tangier Island.

The food is delicious, the staff is second place, and the atmosphere was so inviting! We tried a number of things, but you can't go wrong with one of them! Recommend all the crab and the Crab Bisque is from this world! We can't wait to go back!

That was a place I wanted to visit for a long time. It was great if you want an honest slower pace of life and wonderful people around this is the place. My hope is to come back.

What a great restaurant! The moment we walked in my family and I felt the warmth of the atmosphere. The waitress was superb and so friendly! The food was exquisite! I ordered the softshell crab sandwich.... Which at first I was underwhelmed with what it was... deep fried softshell crab in between a couple of bread slices. She told me to add a little mustard... And that's it.....When I bit into it.... The flavors exploded in my mouth. I couldn't believe how good something so simple tasted. My wife had the fish and chips, which she said was the best she'd had. I highly recommend it! Pros *Great food *Great service *Great atmosphere *Decent prices Cons !Need to take a boat to get there
