Bidra med feedbackMy recent experience at Tony's Café and Pizzeria in Taneytown left much to be desired. The lack of attention to detail was apparent from the moment I walked in. Despite being seated promptly, I noticed I wasn't given a silverware setup, making the dining experience less than ideal. The service, unfortunately, did not improve as the meal progressed. Once my food was served, the waitress should have checked on me even once. It was as if I had become invisible when the dishes hit the table. This lack of attention left me feeling neglected and diminished the dining experience. While the food was commendable, with flavors that satisfied my palate, there was a glaring oversight with the fries. They arrived at the table completely unsalted, a seemingly simple detail that significantly impacted the enjoyment of this classic side dish. As I finished my meal, I was presented with the check, but to my surprise, the waitress never returned to collect payment. This lack of follow-through left me awkwardly waiting for someone to attend to my needs. Adding to the list of grievances, I had to navigate the entire meal without a napkin. It may seem like a minor detail, but these small elements contribute to an overall unpleasant dining experience. To top it off, I was the sole customer in the restaurant, and the staff's failure to provide even essential attentiveness raised concerns about the establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction. Regrettably, based on this disappointing experience, I cannot foresee returning to Tony's Café and Pizzeria. The lack of attention to detail and basic customer service left me with a negative impression that overshadowed the positive aspects of the food.
My dad and I always go for the cheesesteaks and fried mushrooms from here. Never once had a problem with how it all turned out. But, this place's hay day is way over, and can definitely need some kind of update. New management? Renovations? I would love to see this place restored to its original glory in the future.
Good pizza , great service needs cushion s on bench seats , Salads were smaller than I thought they would be large pizza bigger than iv expected.. nice atmosphere
The person on the phone was so nice and sweet and very helpful and understanding of questions and when arriving the kid in front had the best personality but besides the good customer service the food was to die for.it had so an amazing and authentic flavor and it was so good best food I've had in while in Taneytown. Well definitely come again
This place a nice little hidden gem. We were in town for some softball games today and with an hour ride home, we want to find something for our 3 kids to eat. Luckily, we were also able to have a beer, cheesesteak and sub. Kids had chicken fingers! Everything was good and service was attentive! We were skeptical because of the reviews but we had nothing to complain about! Keep up the good work!
