Bidra med feedbackI had eaten yesterday with my enkelin at lunchtime and our experience was great. our meal and salate were very good, and the cream of the crab soup excellent. our service was also good, altho there was only half dozen or so patronen. id go back or recommend it at any time.
Ate at Flick's recently upon the recommendation of some neighbors. Although the atmosphere and location were good for me, the rest of my dining experience was less than satisfactory. The AC was turned up so high that I froze the whole time I was there. The cheese steak sub I ordered was barely average. It was small compared to other subs I have gotten elsewhere--maybe 6-8 inches at most--and the sub roll was too soft (not crisp) and too bready. The accompanying potato salad was tasteless (no seasoning) and the potatoes were hard. My friend had a shrimp salad sandwich which was also less than satisfactory. The portion was small, the shrimp were not diced, and there was no seasoning, celery, onions, etc. Tasted very bland. Shrimp salad should be more than just shrimp in mayonnaise. Her accompanying cole slaw was equally bland with much too much mayo. The side order of French fries was just okay--limp potatoes, greasy, and too small a portion. Overall our dining experience was less than satisfactory and it is unlikely that we will return there.
The service was extremely disappointing. We waited an hour for our food, and the waitress seemed uninterested in assisting us. Although we were the first customers to be seated, we ended up being the last to receive our meals. Other diners even commented on the poor service we were experiencing. After waiting 30 minutes, the waitress brought us something else, and it was another 30 minutes before our actual meals arrived.

Although we were the first to be seated, we ended up being the last to be served. Other customers in the restaurant even commented on our lack of service. After waiting another 30 minutes, the waitress finally brought us the wrong order. It took another 30 minutes for us to finally receive our meals. Overall, the service was unsatisfactory.
A group of 25-30 of us had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Our waitress was new, which wasn't her fault, but I believe the manager shares some of the blame. We waited a long time for our food and drinks, and the service was quite poor. I asked about my check around 6:50 PM, and at 7:30 PM, I finally had to go to the bar to request it myself. The poor waitress had to call the manager for assistance while dealing with all of us. Why didn’t the manager come out to support her while customers waited nearly 40 minutes for their checks? I definitely won’t be returning, and I have a feeling I’m not alone in this sentiment. This place was terrible.
