Good quality traditional eating. I recently moved from the city of london to the Warlingham area. in my work I am forever to take the clients for mealtimes. when I discovered the restaurant without ruffle, I was very surprised. it is like a good quality traditional pub (serve a good English beer) in a city full of posh bars (serve super-priced strange cocktails and funky colored drinks). inside it felt very authentic. very similar to some of the restaurants I visited india. the personal greeted me, please and polite. my wife and I ordered a huh chaat puri, pilau, chicken balti, goa chicken (never tries that one before) popadoms, garlic naan...read more

Absolutely awful. Just had a delivery. Extremely oily and inedible. And when we phoned they weren’t interested at all. Said a bit of a discount next time. A Warlingham institution on the village green, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Narrow interior creates a cosy atmosphere. Menu is typical of most curry houses. Generous portions, cheap prices by 2023 inflated standards so good value for money. Service is fast and attentive, but manner can be a bit abrupt. It’s a great night out from Croydon, 403 bus to Warlingham, a few drinks in the nearby historic White Lion pub followed by a curry in the Warlingham Tandoori and bus home.

Take out.was very disappointed with the food . Standards definitely dropped or may be a one off but won’t be ordering again . Food was very poor .
