Shula Burger - Tampa

The burger was good with excellent topping although the patty was a bit small. The onion rings and sweet potato fries were good too. Nothing on the menu indicates that there is an up charge on meals for sides other than fries even though a side of fries and the other sides are the same price by themselves. The milkshakes were incredibly thin and didn?t taste all that great. I?m not even sure it?s actual ice cream.

Today was my first time here but definitely not my last. The employee was extremely nice and patient with me when I had multiple questions about the gluten free bun and if they used peanut oil. All of my questions were answered and the burger I chose was really good.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we were greeted warmly by the cashier and manager as soon as we walked in. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. We had already looked at the menu online, so we knew what we wanted to order. We decided on the Shula burger with American cheese, the SOBE Steak sandwich, French fries, sweet potato fries, onion petals, and an Apple crisp shake. The burger was delicious and the patty was larger than the bun. The French fries were thin, crispy, and perfectly cooked. My husband enjoyed the SOBE Steak sandwich, which was served on a brioche roll and smelled amazing. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly with a crispy outside and tender inside. The onion petals were outstanding, with a well-seasoned batter that was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Apple crisp shake was a delicious way to end the meal. We watched a hockey game on the large TV while we ate and the staff checked on us regularly, even asking about the Lightning game. The staff were friendly and genuinely nice, making this a great spot for a delicious meal. This was our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last.

The burger at this restaurant is excellent and the price is great. I ordered the Black and Bleu meal. My only complaint is that they give you too many fries! It might sound strange, but I ended up throwing most of them away. Still, I highly recommend this place.

I would not recommend this restaurant. I paid $11 for a small unsweetened tea and a tiny burger. The employees were eating while preparing food for the customers. I did not see them wash their hands before handling my food and they did not seem concerned about handling food for other customers.
