Just an average experience All the way around Nothing makes me want to go out of my way to go back again.

My husband and I made reservations for dinner on Labor day thinking it would be crowded which when we arrived it wasn't. The host took us to our table which was right out in front. We sat there looking at menu and someone came with chips n salsa and left not much communication. We wanted some water especially eating chips. No one came for a few min's. We watched waitresses several of them helping guests. They stopped by our table said nothing and had to have known we needed utensils and water and we just arrived. We were still looking at menu making our decision what we wanted. Time passed our reservation was 7pm. After 20 mins could see 4 different parties arrive seated and wait staff already helping them with their order brought drinks while we sat there in disbelief!!!!! We finally had to stop a staff member that we've been waiting no water no napkins and the salsa was very thick and hardly anything in the bowl but tons of chips! WTH! Finally my husband got up to where all these waitresses were just standing around doing nothing but yet they kept looking over at our table. Don't understand this treatment. It wasn't crowded. The girl came over and apologized and said to us so sorry no one here told me you needed help, now what kind of answer is that when she in fact walked right by us and had to have seen us with menu's and no water and she also in fact saw us seated! She brought us water and mind you its been almost 30 mins have passed, our chips were cold and asked for a refill and more salsa. She brought it right away. My husband was fuming but then. We almost walked out but she came over to take our order. We asked her how long we would have to wait for our food, she said it wouldn't be long but yet we waited 30 mins to get our order in and water, etc. The food came out pretty fast, however hardly any beans and rice on plate, food tasted good but for price wasn't worth what we paid, my husband only left $5 tip for the poor service!!! very disappointing.

I have been to Grand Hacienda on many occasions, beginning when they first opened on Sheldon Rd. This past experience left us disappointed. We ordered the table side guacamole, and it was not good. The server left out the limes, and it was just bland. The service left a lot to be desired. Once the food arrived, they disappeared until we finished...never checking if we needed anything, including drinks. The food overall was just OK. Nothing to boast about.

Food was excellent and our out of town guests asked to go back! Fajitas were amazing! Margaritas hit the spot.
