Bidra med feedbackWe went for a brunch at 10:30. the front doors were closed and locked, so we walked around to the Hotel Haha entrance. Service was very very slow/inattentive for how empty it was. The bar was out of a key ingredient for one of the 4 cocktails on the breakfast menu. Food was good, staff was fair. I would return in the evening for the cocktail menu. The boozy drinks we did get were excellent (the morning coffee was not).
Took almost an hour to get seated, even though I had a reservation. Took over 30 minutes to get the appetizer, and the entree took over an hour and a half. Several of us ordered the snapper, only for the waiter to come back 20 minutes later and tell us there was no snapper available. Why not just tell us that right away so we can get our order in? Ordered a steak medium, came out well done. By that point we were so hungry that I just ate it anyway. A manager came out to apologize for the delay in the appetizer, but never at any point did anyone offer a discount, a free dessert, or something! We were waiting forever. Overall, it was just a very poor experience, which is not what I'm used to from this restaurant. Don't know what's happening, but they need to get it together. Won't be back.
I see what they were trying to do with the dim lighting and candles but a little more lighting would have been nice. It was their Christmas special and very nice but when the outside lights came on it was better to see each other and even see the beauty of the food. I love the family style they did but for two the table was packed and not much room. The food was awesome and that peanut butter cake dessert is everything! The seafood soup was cold but still tasty. The halibut was wonderful as was the lamb shank but the halibut stood out for me. I would recommend them.
The entire experience was magnificent (again and again). Alexis and her team gave superb service. The food, my goodness! From the assorted bread with Calabrian chile butter, she crab ? coconut ? soup, pulp ala galega souvide octopus, potatoes, to the NY strip and Haya paella ? ??? delicious! Compliments to chef and let's not forget the unforgettable winter whisper cocktail ? BRAVO ?
Love this place, great local restaurant that has great food and drink and a lovely bar scene. Drinks are very good, wine is quality at a good price and not just another spot to eat. Located in Hotel Haya in Ybor City just a quick trip from downtown Tampa, Amalie arena or cruise terminals the hotel is a great spot and Flor Fina adds to the enjoyment. loved the steak, octopus appetizer, red snapper main dish. Entire group of 10 and no one had a bad comment about our food and experience.
