Acropolis Greek Taverna - Tampa

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Everything was delicious and enjoyable. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was prepared perfectly.

We used their outdoor setting for a large holiday social. Wey worked with me ahead of time to make sure everything was perfect, and the execution matched. Staffing was organized, attentive, and kind. We worked together determining how to provide food/drink to around 40 people reliably alongside an actively operating restaurant/bar among other other large groups and guests. Great food, fun, and looking forward to returning.

You can't go wrong with this restaurant chain. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. I began with the sampler which included perfectly flavored and textured hummus, along with delicious tirosalata, and plenty of warm pita bread. The Acropolis salad was also very tasty. The gyro portion was generous and the dressing was light but flavorful. The prices are reasonable and the service provided by Kylie was excellent. This location is spacious with a nice interior.

Love the gyro platter! And Saganaki is wonderful! The hostess, who was also our waitress, was great!!!! Good portions and very tasty!!!

I lived in the area for many years and decided to check out this particular location for the first time last night. We were seated immediately, and Emily was our server. She was so bubbly, attentive, and courteous. Being that it was our first time here, we couldn't decide on what to order, so Emily suggested that we start off with the Shrimp Tinos (fried). This was the best tasting appetizer I've had in a while.....chef's kiss. My husband ordered the Acropolis Seafood over rice as his entrée and I ordered the Chicken Kabob Blackberry Mojito. Everything was absolutely delicious. Between Emily's great customer service and excellent food, we will definitely be back. Check them out if you're in the area and looking for delicious food.
