Bidra med feedbackMy experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional, from the moment I called to make a reservation to being warmly welcomed at the door by the owners, Deborah and Hi-Tee. The tea selection was extensive and the flavors were exquisite, accompanied by beautifully presented petite fours. The servers were excellent and the walk around the property's stunning garden, which leads back to the natural rainforest on Mount Tamborine, was truly a highlight. Overall, it was a spectacular and unforgettable day. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I was initially apprehensive after reading previous reviews, but our group of 9 had a lovely experience at this restaurant for high tea. We were all impressed by the delicious selection of scones, sweets, and hearty food. The tea options were extensive, and the coffee and champagne were also excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was pleasant. Although we dined indoors, we thought eating outside under the trees would be a great option on a nice day. Overall, we all enjoyed our experience and would gladly return. Thank you.
I have visited Teas Niceties three times before - twice at Eagle Heights when it was run by a mother and daughter, and once in the pavilion. Unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in the quality and value of their high tea. The $55 price tag was not justified in my opinion. The highlight of the high tea seemed to be the scones, but they did not taste fresh and we observed another table leaving many of theirs uneaten. In the past, I remember Teas Niceties offering a variety of tasty high teas with the option to try different teas, but that does not seem to be the case anymore for the current price. The service from the young girls was pleasant, but I do not believe the food quality justifies the cost.
I was told many years ago when you are satisfied with a service, say a person. If you are unhappy with a service, say 10 people. We had 18 unhappy, disappointed women on our table. The owner Deb was absolutely shameful, rude, disgusting... treatment to her guest. She shouldn't be hospitality or any business for this matter. Shame Deb and very stupid mistakes by making a bachelor unhappy. I'll tell everyone, please, don't waste your time and money. Even the food was average and not worth $55. Tin cream and hard scones, not very hard to get the right. Lucky for you your young employees were nice, but I'm very sorry to have a boss like you. I have never witnessed such disgusting behavior in my life of a lady who runs a business. Especially after Covid, I would expect you to be happy for additional business. They complained about 18 people placed on a squishy table inside of their noise. You were aware when the booking was made, it was a hen! You should place a table of this amount of people outside when you were worried about Noice. Shame on you, Deb. Please do a favor and get out of business. Sell it to someone who cares about it is friendly and could do business much better. You treated us like you threw us out of a club at 3:00, that was before lunch, and we were sober, just laugh and a good time! Maybe you have to do this yourself. Unfortunate for you Deb as I am a local hairdresser, we love to speak, we love to recommend and unfortunately many of my customers will hear about your business, news trips very quickly.
Management staff were rude to say the least, And to pay $55 for high tea and get a plater that has mainly sweets on it very little actual food (One must like Sweets) to order a pineapple juice was give pineapple soda send it back...get breakfast juice send back again to then get pineapple juice. waited at least 1/2 hour for that and there were very few people in the high tea room. We had a party of 18 one would think you know there will be noise involved with that many people was told quite rudely to keep the noise down and then followed up by another rude staff member to say that was not a request as in that's an order. Some of the younger staff were lovely i feel for them if they need to work under these rude people how are they treated. Many drinks were sent out incorrectly and by the bill I'm sure we paid for them as well. I for one will never return to this establishment
