Backwoods Steakhouse - Tallapoosa

I personally don't have some of the people who work there and they actually enjoy their work to help people enjoy a meal that is really cool I actually know the owner of the facility do really well, all to help someone so if you want to have a meal and have it in a place where people appreciate that you the meal that is the place to go

Backwoods is a hidden treasure in Tallapoosa, GA. The food is fabulous, the service is great and you feel like your home with the family. Very recommended, but take cash or your checkbook because they do not accept credit cards.

The best steak I've ever eaten, melt in your mouth. The meal was delicious. They owner and the staff were very friendly,, curteous , and professional. We drove from Hokes Bluff, Al. and it was worth the drive. The price also was very reasonable. I intend to go back soon

My wife and I love going to Backwood's steakhouse! Eddie, his mother and all the hard-working young men and women make sure you have an excellent experience. They feel like family. I don't usually eat in salad bars, but I do. Smaller salad bar, but so good! I like the rolls served before dinner. We usually get an excellent steak with grilled shrimp and baked potato. It's always one of the best steaks we ever eat. Worth the ride! Bring cash or check because the credit card reader does not work in the backwoods!

This place was amazing, best service I had in a restaurant for years. You know what they're doing here! Food was great, the ride out there is nice, the place was clean and the people were very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a romantic evening, loves rural areas etc... you will find no better service, prices or location than this. I'll go back as often as I can.
