Bamboo House Restaurant - Tallahassee

I went to this restaurant since I was a baby and my parents brought me. it never failed me! I love eating and the atmosphere. it is the best Asian buffet in the city. even if the choice of food is smaller than the large places, the quality of food is much better! quality is always better than quantity! the owner knows my face and my whole family and makes us feel very special every time we come in!

This place is great. large buffet with many vegan/vegetarian options (the aubergine is the best) everything was delicious and clean, but the chef was relaxed enough to chat with us on the table. one of the owners heard that we had the Tofu court and packed some for us to take home. a fantastic local vibe with both americanese 'take-out' and more traditional food options.

Beautiful people who run it. eat good quality. the parking space can be a challenge for some people. there is a lot and then a few street parking places. prepare to walk a bit to foot when they are back on the parking lot. it's not a huge trek, but if you're handicap, you're wearing or something, it might be difficult. the journey worth it!

This place is permanently closed 11.2019 this is a very authentic, family-run Taiwanese restaurant. pro: delicious home cooking style Chinese cuisine. many vegetarian options: orange tofu, the best green beans around, rice notes and aubergines with garlic sauce. con: this place really needed to clean up and update something. it is so old, and it shows. they have short hours, and sometimes they close too soon. her buffet changes, and some paints I miss on my favorites. it's a little expensive. lunch $8.5 dinner $10.75

While a menu is available, most people will probably prefer the buffet. Although the selection is smaller than at some restaurants, it makes up for that by being uniformly high quality. Chicken and tofu dominate, but beef, pork, and a few vegetable options are also available. Service staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are quite affordable.
