At last! After waiting for so long, we were able to enjoy a mango shaved ice without condensed milk. It was incredibly delicious, just as we had hoped. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

This restaurant is affordable and the portions are generous! Typically, the mango dessert is served with shaved ice and condensed milk, but you have the option to order it without. Even without the condensed milk, it is still sweet and delicious. This review has been updated as of May 24, 2019.

We decided to try the shaved ice and mango dessert at this restaurant in Tainan, known for its fruit stalls. Unlike most places that serve it with milk, they were accommodating enough to make it without for us. We had indicated in Chinese that we don't consume dairy, but the waiter spoke English and the ordering process went smoothly. The seating area is open and offers a nice view overlooking Tainan Park.

According to my Taiwanese friend, the hingan is known for superstitions, where people order and eat cute. lily fruit shop is probably the most famous of these. after dinner/supplier, five of us shared a large fruit plate, mango shaved ice and watermelon ananas fruit juice. the plate had a good selection of local seasonal fruits (including watermelons, kiwi, mango, papaya, grapes, apples, birne, drachenfruit) and the juice was delicious. I am not a fan of sweet desserts and had only a few bites of the mango ice dessert, which was gently shaved and bite the crisp and slightly acidic mango pieces and balance their whole sweetness. my mother, who has a sweet tooth, found it tasty and also enjoyed a type of raged egg (which she likes to visit korean patbingsu) on a second visit. some of the razed ice desserts (which contain milk, so please ask if they are vegan.
