Bidra med feedbackI went with my non-veg mom to try this place. The atmosphere is what I would call “classical Buddhist”. The set menus with Asian menu items were quite reasonable: between NT$110-150 for 9 items. I doubt that the Western menu options are worth their 100% markup price tag. Anyway, I would point out that vegans who go to tell the waiter “I don’t eat any animal products: please don’t waste any soups or pages that are NOT vegan on me.” Otherwise, they will simply bring out their standard ovo-lacto items, even if you order a vegan duck! Very annoying. The food itself is fine: I liked the pages and Veggies that came with my curry, but the Indonesian curry itself was quite bland, possibly on the local palette. On the first and 15th of each month, they offer BOGO Bento boxes if you preorder at least one day in advance via the phone. Updated by previous review on 2020-05-19
I ordered curry pasta and a "pizza" from this restaurant, and both were just okay. Next time, I will opt for more traditional or local dishes that looked better than what I ordered. The service was fast and friendly.
I visited this restaurant with my non-vegetarian mother to give it a try. The ambiance can be described as "classy Buddhist." The set menus featuring Asian dishes were reasonably priced, ranging from NT$110-150 for 9 items. I'm not sure if the Western menu options justify their 100% markup. One thing to note for vegans is to inform the waitstaff about your dietary preferences to avoid receiving non-vegan items. The food was decent, with tasty sides and vegetables accompanying my curry. However, the Indonesian curry itself was a bit bland, possibly tailored to local tastes. Additionally, on the first and 15th of each lunar month, they offer a buy one, get one free deal on bento boxes if you pre-order over the phone at least a day in advance.
