Bidra med feedbackI thought chilled taho was Dell's novel idea until I went to the Sinangag Express store when I got discouraged by the lunch line at Dell and all I wanted was an ice cold drink. I thought I was looking at some kind of almond pudding with tapioca when I saw the plastic cups stacked next to soda cans. Of course, when I found out it was chilled, I had to try. First of all, assembly was required as the sugar syrup came in a separate package like you would get for soy sauce at a Siomai booth. As I carefully pierced the package, I prayed that I wouldn't wear syrup on my blouse for the rest of the day. Second, it was boring. Third, the soy was more jelly and less slurp. Fourth, the tapioca were small, but Dell's chilled taho didn't have chewy sago either, so that's a tie. Bottom line: well I think you will never know until you try. *** For lack of anything other than another order of Seafood Bagoong from RBX, I recently tried SE's Bangusilog with a side of Atchara. It was pretty decent. *** Oh heavenly and yet sinful Bagnet, how I love you so much! I'm improving my rating from 2 to 3.5!
3m "Malamok, Malangaw near Mainggay" Staff are always busy talking to each other, even if the chef joins them in preparing your meal. They always play very loud music, even if you wear headphones you can still hear them. If you want a quick breakfast and a cheap meal, you've come to the right place. Bring a mosquito repellent.
For any "silog" craving, Sinangag Express is a quick stop. Their meals are reasonably priced, with my favorite Tapsilog at Php 75, with an additional Php 5 to take away. The wait is quite long.
05/26/2016 For starters, they didn't have my initial cravings for beef pares. Second, the tapa in their tapsilog was a cross between tapa and corned beef, which tasted pretty weird. Probably the salvation for that open-air hole in the wall was that the chilli sauce was pretty plentiful and already on the tables.
