Savour Cafe - Tagbilaran

Avoid this place. Cook was able to screw up the simplest dish on Earth (lechon kawali is just deep fried cut bacon). Waiting time: 30 minutes. Prepare for 10% service charge.

Stayed in the Hotel attached to it. Breakfast was served here. We would have wished for more vegetarian options but this is more a general problem on Bohol (or the Philippines? . We got garlic rice, vegetables and variations of egg. Food was good, staff was very friendly.

The place is surprisingly small but its interiors are clean, sleek, and look modern. Staff is kind and alert, service is quick. The dish portions are on the conservative side (read: small) considering their price value. They are basically not cheap. The honey garlic porkchop is recommended. The lemon pepper shrimp, on the other hand, just had too much lemon rind that it diminished the sweetness of the shrimps. Thankfully, the restaurant uses reusable metal straws, so I wish they use paper bags and reusable containers for take-aways. The resto has free WiFi connectivity as well.
