JJ's Seafood Village - Tagbilaran

The food is average, but the prices are a bit high. The atmosphere and staff are both rated a 7 out of 10.

We had our company training held here at jj's , the conference rooms were ok, there were two air conditioning but the other one is broken, food served were ordinary nothing special, and there were rarely seafoods (they shouldn't have named thier restaurant jj's seafood village if they rarely serve seafoods).. the accommodations is bad, first we were supposed to check in 2pm but we waited 4 hours till 6pm- yes 4 hours...and the beds, were to our disgust, full of bedbugs, but the staff sprayed it with lysol (i didn't know lysol could kill bugs but it somehow worked). The bathroom is also bad, they have very slow running water and there is no ventilation. On the good side..the staff were pretty accomodating i would have given it a one star if it wasn't because of the staff. The location of the hotel is convenient, its near the pier about a 100 meters away. Their deluxe rooms are priced at 1500, and they have a standard room (good for 2) which if im not mistaken priced at 850.

The kitchen is well-equipped and the prices are affordable. The restaurant is fully air conditioned. Orders are served hot and the service is efficient. However, make sure to remind the servers not to add too much sugar to their citrus drinks as they can be too sweet for some tastes.

It took some time to eat out. but it certainly paid off if you could finally enjoy the delicious food. the ambiente is simply beautiful and cozy. the staff are also friendly. for prices they are standard as other restaurants. this is one of the restaurants that you should try when visiting bohol.

The dining experience was decent, but like many dishes in the Philippines, it lacked depth of flavor. The portion sizes were large and we were the only customers in the restaurant, leading to some overpayment by the staff. The standout dish was the crispy shrimp, which was delicious. The whole prawns were a pleasant surprise, with even the legs and head being impeccably cooked. The steamed fish was enjoyable but slightly bland. The scallops were good, but not exceptional. Despite these minor flaws, the restaurant offered great value for money. Overall, the meal was good but not outstanding.
