The Ash Tree Inn - Tadcaster

Have just been to The Ash Tree with three good friends for a meal. It was our first visit and it certainly won't be our last! I had smoked haddock and prawn risotto. It was outstanding. Good service and great food .

I have been twice since the pup reopened, had a lovely starter and could tell the food was GOODYesterday I had a burger, the place is looking lovely! Excellent service and food! The menu is looking different with some appealing options and I am looking forward to visit on Sunday to try other dishes.

We called on spec Sunday last, we were very pleased with the food chioces, all home made. Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble for them to supply you with all you asked for. Lovely pint of Guinness, one of those places for a meal, when you come away, you say to yourself, I really enjoyed that meal. Keep up the good standards all at the Ash Tree Inn, and when we are passing your way, you're the first place we shall visit once again.

We visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. I ordered the crab cakes and a drink, while our daughter had BBQ chorizo and pizza, and my husband chose the fish and chips. My daughter and I found our meals to be fabulous, but my husband was disappointed with the fish and chips. He thought the batter was too thick and not to his liking. Despite that, I would recommend giving it a try to sample other dishes.

I had a fantastic experience celebrating my birthday dinner here! The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious with generous portion sizes. The prices were quite reasonable, and I appreciated the refund for parking. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
