Hot Rod Dog - Tacoma

Shannon and I went here earlier today Oct 31, 2023 before driving around Tacoma for a while. The owner was very friendly and provided very good hot dogs and outstanding customer service in a relaxed atmosphere. It was simple yet high quality food in our opinion. I had a beef hot dog and Shannon had a German bratwurst. There were lots of items with which to top our hotdogs. This is a small local business run by a friendly gentleman who works hard to make it work. We will definitely return. P.S. Happy early birthday to the owner (didn't catch your name).

This is a wonderful little hot dog stand in amongst stores near the Glass Bridge. My husband got the regular hot dog, and I got the German Bratwurst. Both were delicious with really soft buns that held the hot dogs and toppings well. The owner was very friendly, and we got to chat a bit with him. I will definitely visit again.

First time here. Won’t be the last. Owner has such a warm and friendly personality.

Unfortunately because of Covid-19, the owner had to close for a year, but fortunately he is back in business! I finally tried the rosemary chicken sausage and it was such a nice lunch! The sausage was absolutely delicious and the size is great. The owner is super friendly and welcoming! I would recommend you pick up a delicious hot dog during your lunch break if you're the area!

Stop to get the German sausage. This place has all the best blows. Delicious!
