Bidra med feedbackWas one of my favorite lunch spots. The homemade soups were amazing! They had the best fries in Tacoma! The big draw for us was the homemade fries.....now they are frozen straight from the freezer. Many times I would take home dinners for my family. Their daily specials had that home-cooked taste. Nothing stands out like the fresh-cut fries, which are no longer available. We miss the made-from-scratch soups that were perfect on these cold winter evenings. Now it's a pub/bar/tavern with food.....just like any other.
After walking our dog around the loop my wife and myself decided to have a beverage and eat dinner this was my wife's first time here. The beverages of choice were very good . My wife ordered fish and chips and I ordered burger dip . Our food came out my burger dip was almost at the burn state but edible the ajus was watery . My wife's fish and chips the fish was very greasy had to dab with napkin to eat the fries were OK. My wife and I very disappointed of experience would not want to eat there possibly again maybe in for a drink or a beer but was not a 60.00 dollar meal by far was hoping for much better
Great spot to get fried oysters and take in the view of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge!
This old school joint is the top spot on a sunny day!
Classic West Slope establishment. Titlow Beach, picturesque mainline RR tracks crossing, old ferry pilings, good parking, the Sound, the Narrows Strait and Bridge. Picture-postcard setting! We are fortunate it is here.
